Legal Growth Hormones

HGH (human growth hormone) is a legal growth hormone that works to stimulate the production of muscle tissue, and prevent aging.
So long as it’s administered by prescription, HGH is perfectly safe to use. The laws surrounding HGH vary from state to state, and are often recognized in the same categories as steroids, which were outlawed federally in 1990.
Human growth hormone is a naturally occurring hormone that is produced in the pituitary gland. Because of this, regulations are hard to pass against its use, particularly in cases where it’s being administered for health purposes.
But in some states, like Colorado, it’s a felony to distribute HGH without prescription, and a misdemeanor to have it in your system.
HGH: What It Is, What It Does
“Human growth hormone (hGH) is a natural hormone produced in the human body by the pituitary gland. It’s available as a synthetically produced injectable drug, and has become a popular but expensive medication prescribed in anti-aging therapies and in the treatment of AIDS-related wasting. Bodybuilders may illicitly self-administer hGH to improve size and strength, usually by subcutaneous injection into the lower abdomen.
Excessive or high-dose use can lead to significant or even dangerous side effects, like acromegaly (bone growth of the feet, jaw, forehead, etc.) and enlargement of the internal organs.
Some of the brand names currently available are Genotropin®, Humatrope®, Nutropin®, Protropin®, Saizen®, Serostim® and Somatotropin®. Counterfeit products containing no real hGH have been identified on the black market, and have even shown up on pharmacy shelves – potentially jeopardizing those who need it medically.
Legal Ramifications of HGH
When Congress bootstrapped anabolic steroids into the Controlled Substances Act by passing the Anabolic Steroid Control Act of 1990, steroids were already covered under 21 USC § 333(e), a part of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. That law, passed in 1988, made it a felony to distribute steroids (without criminalizing their personal use).
When the Control Act effectively took steroids out of that section, Congress filled the void by sticking hGH in there. So, while hGH is not scheduled, 21 USC § 333(e) prohibits the distribution or possession with intent to distribute hGH for any use in humans other than for recognized medical reasons and pursuant to a valid prescription.
Violations may be punishable by imprisonment of up to 5 years (10 years if to a person under 18 years).” Quote by Rick Collins, J.D., a veteran lawyer and former competitive bodybuilder, and author of the book LEGAL MUSCLE: Anabolics in America.
Proceed With Caution
Any powerful substance taken with prescription should be monitored closely and taken responsibly. However, there are other options for seekers of HGH. Since HGH is produced naturally by the body, its production can be stimulated through the use of certain all-natural (all-legal) ingredients.
Implementing the use of herbal blends that stimulate the pituitary glands could be all you need to produce your own HGH. Amino acids like Glutamine are one of the best natural ways to help your body boost its HGH levels, particularly after intense workout.
When taking any supplement, do so with care. Always use companies that are reputable, and use top of the line ingredients. Don’t skimp out on cheaper brands when you’re investing in your health.
